About Melissa Reeser Poulin

Melissa Reeser Poulin’s poetry and essays explore creativity, faith, justice, parenting, and sustainability. You can find her poems in basalt, Catamaran Literary Reader, The Taos Journal of International Poetry & Art, Relief Journal, Ruminate, and Water~Stone Review.

Her essays have recently appeared in Relief Journal, Entropy Magazine, Writers ResistHip Mama, Mothers Always Write, and Coffee + Crumbs. I wrote Rupture, Light and co-edited and published Winged: New Writing on Bees.

Melissa loves community acupuncture and is currently a student at POCA Tech. She is learning the art of acupuncture so that she can be part of the movement to provide affordable and accessible acupuncture for all. She lives in Portland with her husband and two children. They are the loves of her life.
